We are Jai & Kate (husband & wife team), Weight Loss Coaches, Personal Trainers, Nutrition geeks, and fitness fanatics. And we're firm believers that healthy habits, and an unbreakable mindset can turn your health around—because that's exactly what it did for us, and what we want to do for you. Both Kate and I have lost over 10kgs and kept it off permanently using the same methods we coach our clients through.

We started SQ1 Fitness in 2010, and have worked with thousands of clients over the past 14 years to transform their health and lives. And we'd love to help you as well.

Here's how we can help you:

  • ✅ Increase Your Metabolism: It becomes harder to lose weight the older you get because for many people, the metabolism slows down. But it doesn't have to be that way! The first thing we teach our clients is how to speed up their metabolism to start burning more fat with our diet strategies and daily habits. 

  • ✅ Feed your body what it needs: Most adult diets include about 15% protein. This is around half of what you actually need for your body to burn fat and your metabolism to function properly. When you follow a balanced diet plan, your body responds with fat loss and more energy. We set all of our clients up with a diet plan that isnt too restrictive, and you can still enjoy your favourite foods and eat meals with the family, while burning fat and improving your health.

  • ✅ Effective Workout Routines: Resistance training has proven over time to be the best form of exercise for fat loss and toning the body. Our resistance training programs are tailored to each client to help them tone and shape up muscle, and build strength and fitness, and a healthy body.
